Roder UK Limited v Titan Marquees Limited and others  All ER (D) 93 (Oct);  EWCA Civ 1126. Deceit and Misrepresentation by company directors as to the company's credit. Section 6 of Statute of Frauds (Amendment) Act 1828 definitively interpreted.
Caleb Construction Ltd v. Walker Lees Ltd  EWHC (TCC) - Costs: Special Cases: circumstances in which non-parties to the litigation (in this case directors of the claimant company) could be ordered to pay the costs of the successful defendant : CPR 48(2) and Supreme Court Act 1981, s.51.
T. Comedy Limited v. Easy Managed Transport Limited  2 All ER (Comm) 189;  2 Lloyd's Rep 397;  EWHC 611(Comm). International carriage of goods by road: carrier's lien under RHA Conditions of Carriage 1998; whether this was compatible with Article 13.2 of the CMR (Uniform Rules for International Carriage of Goods).
