Within the temple
Lamb Chambers is in Lamb Building; our Reception is on the 2nd Floor. Lamb Building is in the
centre of the Temple, in Elm Court, at the eastern end of Fountain Court, backing
on to Middle Temple Lane.
Getting to the temple
On foot
Pedestrian access points to the Temple are marked on the map above.
By tube
From
Temple (Circle and District lines) - go east along the Embankment and up
Middle Temple Lane, or make your way from Temple Place up through Middle Temple,
via the Queen Elizabeth Building car park. It is about 5 minutes' walk.
From
Blackfriars (Circle and District lines, and BR Thameslink) - go north up
New Bridge Street and then west along Tudor Street. It is about 10 minutes' walk.
Chancery Lane station (Central line) and
Holborn station (Central and Piccadilly lines)
are about 15 minutes' walk away to the north, via Chancery Lane.
By car
Parking in the Temple can usually be arranged for clients if adequate notice is given to the clerks beforehand.
Any vehicle entering the Temple must do so via Tudor Street, which is accessible from
Fleet Street (via Bouverie Street), the east-bound Embankment (via Temple Avenue), or New
Bridge Street.
Outside the Temple, there is meter parking in many nearby streets, and a public car park at Shoe Lane, accessible via Fetter Lane, 10-15 minutes' walk away.
