Practice

Property. Expertise in the full range of residential and commercial property disputes. Retained by a number of housing associations and local authorities to advise and appear in relation to all areas of housing law, including nuisance, anti-social behaviour, disrepair, possession. Acts for tenants in complex disputes with landlords, including unlawful eviction and harassment, assignment and succession, homelessness.

PI. Practice is focused predominantly in the areas of occupiers' &employers' liability, health and safety and high value road traffic claims.

Experience

Wide experience of general common law and crime in early years of practice. Specialising in PI and housing work in the past seven years. Combined practice with being leader of a London borough council for nine years.

Restricted practice since May 2005, following election as MP for Ealing, Acton & Shepherds Bush.
