General Commercial: including bankruptcy and insolvency and all contractually based claims, particularly finance and credit transactions, agency, domestic and international sale and transportation of goods, supply of goods and services

Banking and Insurance: including securities, guarantees and indemnities, bankers' and insurers' liabilities generally with particular emphasis on personal health insurance

Building & Construction: all forms of building and construction disputes in the Technology and Construction Court and County Courts including architects and engineers duties, ICE, RIBA, GC/Works and JCT forms

Company and Partnership: including shareholder disputes, fiduciary and directors' duties, directors disqualification applications and minority shareholders claims; Company and Partnership; including shareholder disputes, fiduciary and directors' duties, directors disqualification applications and minority shareholders claims

Employment: including all forms of dismissal and discrimination claims, confidentiality and application of restrictive covenants

Experience

A broad range of commercial work in the areas detailed above, acting for PLCs, Banks and other institutions together with company and private clients. In addition to advisory and non contentious work, extensive advocacy experience in the County Courts, Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunal, all divisions of the High Court and the Court of Appeal, together with trade and partnership arbitrations.
