Contentious Construction and Engineering Law: Numerous complex Technology and Construction Court matters including claims relating to loss and expense, delay, workmanship, professional negligence and defective design. Regularly prepares documentation for, and acts in, adjudication and arbitration.

Non-Contentious Construction and Engineering Law: Advising upon, and drafting, bespoke forms of construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, bonds and related documentation. Advising upon construction procurement and related issues, advising upon, and drafting, agreements relating to PFI projects. Drafting and advising upon the constructional elements of development agreements.

Professional Negligence: Advising generally and acting for and against Architects, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors and other professionals involved in construction and engineering.

Property Law: Secure lending, general boundary disputes property related torts (particularly trespass to land), Party Wall matters, dilapidation disputes and other property matters related to the construction process.

General Commercial Law: Contractual disputes (notably where the subject matter is of a complex technical nature), commercial agreements, sale of goods, misrepresentation and mistake.

In appropriate circumstances instructions are accepted directly from Building Contractors, Developers, Sub-Contractors, Architects and others involved in the construction industry by means of the Public Access Rules and in other circumstances by means of Licensed Access.
