Broad common law practice covering all areas in which Chambers specialises:
Personal injury: including occupiers' and employers' liability, health & safety, highways and road traffic accidents (including fraud claims).
Property and housing: including landlord & tenant (residential and commercial), disrepair and dilapidations, mortgages, co-ownership disputes, public sector housing, ASBIs and ASBOs and nuisance.
General commercial: including all contractually based claims, particularly supply of goods and services, finance and credit transactions, company and partnership disputes and bankruptcy and insolvency.
Employment: including all forms of dismissal and discrimination claims, redundancy and equal pay claims.
Experience
A broad range of advisory, drafting and advocacy work in the areas detailed above. Appearances range from in the County Court, Employment Tribunal and Leasehold Valuation Tribunal through to the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
