Commercial: including contractual disputes and the sale and carriage of goods, aspects of IT law and competition law, certain aspects of intellectual property and tax law
Property: including landlord and tenant disputes, housing and mortgages and trespass to goods
Personal injury: including Health & Safety, employer's liability, trespass to the person, false imprisonment, misfeasance, all aspects of prison law, and Human Rights Act 1998 claims
Experience
Nicholas is dual-qualified and practises both in the courts of Ireland and England and Wales. He is more happy to accept instructions in either jurisdiction or to advise on appropriate cases with a cross-border dimension. He has extensive advocacy and advisory experience in a very wide range of areas with experience in all manner of tribunal. His experience ranges from extensive exposure at the outset of his practice in the criminal courts, through to personal injury and medical negligence actions in the County Courts to a focus now predominantly on commercial and property work in the County and High Courts. He also advises on certain areas of intellectual property law and tax.
