Practice

All types of civil contentious work, with a mixture of Queen's Bench and Chancery work, concentrating on:

Insolvency, including corporate and personal, with a large amount of work related to Voluntary Arrangements and director disqualification applications

Company, including shareholder disputes, duties and liabilities of directors and service contracts

Banking, including securities and liabilities of banks

Commercial Disputes

Civil Fraud, including obtaining urgent injunctive and interlocutory relief

Professional Negligence arising from commercial disputes and the handling of litigation

Regularly instructed by Direct Professional Access

Experience

Extensive experience for the first eight years of practise in a wide common law practice including personal injury, landlord and tenant, company disputes, building contracts, professional negligence as well as general commercial and contractual disputes, in addition to claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; Acted for large PLC's, Banks and other major institutions as well as individuals and small companies.

Appeared in numerous High Court actions and before Court of Appeal, in Arbitrations and in Mediations.
