Tenancy

Chambers has a current policy of expansion. Applications will be considered from established practitioners specialising in the fields in which Chambers practises. Applications to John Cherry QC, Head of Chambers.

Pupillage

Lamb Chambers offers two funded twelve-month pupillages each year. All applications must be made through OLPAS (summer season).

All pupillage applicants to Lamb Chambers for 2010/11 should note that by reason of apparently incurable problems with the OLPAS software we have been obliged at Lamb to process all applications by hand.

This has seriously delayed our sending out invitations for interview. We hope to be inviting the shortlisted candidates in the course of this week and with the holiday period now upon us we have provisionally booked 13 and 20 August as interview dates.

Notification to unsuccessful candidates will be delayed a little longer for which we apologise.

Please note that in view of what has happened we are considering our membership of OLPAS for the following year, 2011/12. There is a significant probability that we will withdrw from OLPAS and invite persons seeking pupillage in the future to apply directly to Chambers. If you do have a future interest in a pupillage at Lamb, please keep in contact with our website for further news.

Mini-pupillage

Mini-pupillages are available between June and September each year. Applications for mini-pupillage in 2009 should be made by CV with covering letter addressed to Colin Challenger. Closing date for applications is 30th April 2009. Please provide an email address for correspondence.

Please contact Colin Challenger, Pupillage / Recruitment Director with informal enquiries regarding pupillage, mini-pupillage or tenancy.
