February 2013

In this month's Round-Up we examine the Court of Appeal's guidance on section 33 of the Limitation Act 1980 in the case of Sayers V Lord Chelwood and another [2012] EWCA Civ 1715, a case in which our very own Guy Coleman appeared for the Claimant.

We also examine the application of the Cancellation of Contracts Made in a Consumer’s Home or Place of Work Regulations 2008, and whether the severance of a joint residential tenancy where only one tenant serves a notice to quit is compatible with the ECHR.

Finally we have a warning for those involved in large claims for hire following a road traffic accident.
