This month Ross Beaton discusses the case of Knauer v Ministry of Justice [2016] UKSC 9, in which the Supreme Court departed from four decades of practice in calculating fatal accident damages and brought them into line with other personal injury cases.

Jane Clifton comments on the recent joined appeals in relation to the two joined appeals to the Court of Appeal on the lawfulness of the Bedroom Tax .
