Nigel Waddington

Nigel is a Senior Lecturer at the City Law School, City University, London, where he trains students for the Bar. In addition, he supplies consultancy services to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and to the Patent Examination Board in its development of professional qualifications for patent attorneys.

Formerly a practising barrister, associate professor and designer of the Bar Professional Training Course, he has written extensive training materials for Bar students at the University of Law and has scripted courtroom training demonstrations for delivery by practising barristers including members of Lamb Chambers.

Nigel has also been an external assessor for international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright on its in-house advocacy program. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an IATC-accredited advocacy trainer and a member of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates.
