Sir Hamid Moollan KC

Educated at Kings College, London University, and Faculté de Droit, Université de Paris, Sir Hamid was called to the Bar at the Middle Temple and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1976.

He has appeared before all jurisdictions in Mauritius, as well as in Seychelles and other jurisdictions in the Indian Ocean Rim countries. Additionally he appears regularly before the Privy Council.

Previous appointments have included Chairman of the LCIA / MIAC arbitrations Board and several periods as Chairman of the Mauritius Bar Association. He has also participated as Arbitrator or Counsel in several domestic and international arbitrations.
