During normal opening hours, Temple can be accessed from the Strand, Fleet Street, Tudor Street and Embankment. The Fleet Street and Embankment entrances are most convenient for Chambers.

From Temple station (Circle and District lines) – go east along the Embankment and up Middle Temple Lane, or make your way from Temple Place up through Middle Temple, via the Queen Elizabeth Building car park. It is about 5 minutes’ walk.

From Blackfriars station (Circle and District lines and National Rail station) – go north up New Bridge Street and then west along Tudor Street. It is about 10 minutes’ walk.

Chancery Lane station (Central line) and Holborn station (Central and Piccadilly lines) are about 15 minutes’ walk away to the north, via Chancery Lane.

Parking in the Temple can usually be arranged for clients if adequate notice is given to the clerks beforehand.

Any vehicle entering the Temple must do so via Tudor Street, which is accessible from Fleet Street (via Bouverie Street), the east-bound Embankment (via New Bridge Street and Tudor Street), or New Bridge Street.

Outside the Temple, there is meter parking in many nearby streets, and a public car park at Shoe Lane, accessible via Fetter Lane, 10-15 minutes’ walk away.
