Blessing accepts instructions across chambers’ main practice areas, with a particular focus on Property, Commercial and Chancery Law. Her practice spans both residential and commercial property, and she regularly appears in the County Court, the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and the High Court.
Blessing acts for landlords, tenants, and property owners in a wide range of matters including possession claims (including against persons unknown), service charge and lease disputes, disrepair, access and anti-social behaviour injunctions. Her Chancery work includes trusts of land and co-ownership disputes, property ownership claims, and insolvency matters including bankruptcy and winding up petitions, as well as other related equitable issues.
In addition to her property and chancery work, Blessing is developing a complementary practice in creative and commercial work, drawing on her experience in the media and entertainment industries. She advises and represents clients in the creative and professional sectors on contractual, partnership and business matters at the intersection of law and the creative economy.
Blessing consistently achieves good outcomes in court and is regularly re-instructed by clients. During her pupillage, she also gained valuable experience in high-value insolvency and company cases, including those involving complex issues of international jurisdiction and foreign enforcement of judgments.
A gifted oral advocate, Blessing has been praised for her confident courtroom manner and persuasive advocacy. She has been invited by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple to conduct Civil Advocacy Training and regularly delivers seminars and educational sessions for lawyers, local authorities, and other professionals on topics within her areas of practice. Recent examples include housing and property law seminars for local authorities and commercial property sessions for solicitors and industry professionals.
Blessing also hosts The Ground Floor, a signature series exploring developments and practical issues in property and chancery law aimed at legal professionals and those working with them. Firms or organisations interested in bespoke training or seminars in these areas are welcome to make contact.
