Matthew Winn-Smith of Lamb Chambers has been representing the defendant in an interesting trial concerning claims that a £1 million collection of rare French wines was damaged after specialist wine fridges allegedly caused mould to develop on the bottles.
Matthew acts for the defendant company that supplied and installed the wine refrigeration units. The defendant disputes liability, contending that the units were not defective and that any damage was caused by the claimant repeatedly switching them off.
The case has attracted national media attention and the trial continues.
