Oscar Davies took on a client via Advocate, the pro bono charity, who was bringing an employment tribunal against a large retailer for disability discrimination, failure to make reasonable adjustments, and constructive dismissal.
After attending a preliminary hearing, several conferences and drafting documents for the client and the tribunal, Oscar was able to settle the matter before it went to court attaining £20,000 for the client, and £500 as a term of the settlement to be donated to the Access to Justice Foundation (in lieu of a costs order).
