The mock trial was a claim for credit hire charges and vehicle damage brought by a licenced taxi driver following an accident which was not his fault.
The sessions provided valuable insight into the crucial role of the evidence presented at trial, and how subtle differences can give rise to different outcomes when the Court is considering the guidance in Hussain v EUI, underlining the importance of case preparation.
Richard Menzies took the role of the judge, and the advocates were Joanna Kerr, Morgan John, Christopher Green and Emmanuel Michelakakis-Howe. Lamb Chambers are particularly grateful to Karima Amlani for organising the sessions and ensuring that everything went smoothly.
The Lamb Chambers Personal Injury Group is able to offer a range of different training sessions and workshops. For more information, please get in touch with our Practice Management Team at practicemanagers@lambchambers.co.uk or on 020 7797 8300
